Marc J. Hirsh, MD, FACP
Dr. Hirsh was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida. He then received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. After an internship at Northwestern University in Chicago, he completed residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami. He served on the faculty for one year as Chief Resident in Medicine before completing his sub-specialty training in Rheumatology at the University of Miami.
Since 2003, Dr. Hirsh has had a successful South Florida private practice in Rheumatology. He is a board certified rheumatologist and a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and American College of Rheumatology. As a member of the Florida Society of Rheumatology, American College of Rheumatology, Palm Beach County Medical Society, American College of Physicians and Florida Medical Association, Dr. Hirsh remains active in medical associations on a local and national level.
Dr. Hirsh is also an American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) member and a musculoskeletal faculty member involved in the education of other physicians in the use of ultrasound. With the use of ultrasound for diagnostic and advanced techniques like ultrasound-guided cortisone injections and ultrasound-guided PRP injections, Dr. Hirsh has helped many people with refractory pain who had given up hope of getting joint pain relief.
